Hello Friends, Hello friends, we make unique customized designer dresses for the deities. These are unique pieces handcrafted specially for our deities of Radha Krishna and Laddu Gopal. Today we have come up with a tutorial video on how to dress up Krishna and Radha Rani. We make youtube videos of the same showing how to do the shringar. So do them check out. Let's begin!
1. Selecting Dress and Jewelry.
Firstly, we need to decide what Vastra we want the deities to wear. So select the dresses. In this video, we made the Thakurji wear a cotton Golden Dress (customized by us) because of the summer season. Also, we made jewelry with pearls that are lightweight too.
2. Choose a background.
Choose a background fabric, or any sort of decoration if you wish to do but it should co-ordinate with the vastras (clothes). In this video, we have selected a beige colored fabric which has some sequins on it.
3. Bathing the Deities
Rub Gopi Chandan (sandalwood paste) on the deities to clean them. Later use a soft cotton cloth to remove the dried paste and then pour water on the deities. Finally, wipe them with a dry towel.
4. Dressing up.
Dress the deities in the selected clothes. In this video, we are dressing them up as follows:
1. Radha Rani is in a golden blouse and Ghaghra. We have covered her head with dupatta. Later we have used pieces of jewelry like mangal sutra with pendants of R for Radha and K for Krishna, a choker, earrings, Kamar bandh (decorative waist belt), Bindi for forehead and chin, etc.
2. Krishna in a golden half pajama and a dupatta. We have draped a turban out of the dupatta. We have used decorative fan pins to decorate the turban further.
Then we have used different pieces of jewelry to decorate him like a necklace, bangles, belt (Kamar bandh), earrings, Payal (anklets), flute (bansuri) Bindi for forehead, chin and as a finger ring, etc.
5. Decorate them with Flowers
You can decorate the deities with flowers real or even artificial ones can be used. Also, make use of Tulsi leaf in Krishna's feet as Krishna is very of Tulsi.
6. Offer Prasad
Offer any kind of prasad to deities which is home cooked and pure. Try to offer food with no onion and garlic. Also dry fruits or fruits can be offered. In this video we have offered almonds (badam) and all (water) in a silver glass with a Tulsi leaf decorated on it.
